We would like to thank everyone for making this season’s tryouts a huge success!!! The skill level of all our teams for the upcoming season is amazing!
As we begin a new year – we ask you to place some trust in our process, our coaches and our program. Believe that as an experienced/successful cheerleading organization, 19 years in SWFL and 27 years overall, each athlete was placed on the correct team. Placements are not just about tumbling, flying or any one element in the routine. It is about your child as part of a TEAM and what is needed to be successful. It is our job as coaches to make sure your child will grow, flourish and succeed on the best team possible.
We will be evaluating all athletes in the next couple of practices to make sure they have been placed on the correct team. If we feel that your child was incorrectly placed on their team, Please set up a parent conference with Jimmy to discuss any changes.
Your job, as a parent, is to stay positive, manage expectations (even your own) and to be your child’s and the gym’s biggest cheerleader! Be the parent that lifts everyone up, praises the coaches for the job they do, and have faith your child will be the reason for the overall success of their team and program!
Thank you for your continued support.

Q: | How do I register for tryouts? |
A: |
Arrive at Top Gun All Stars at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled clinic and Top Gun All Stars - 13110 Metro Parkway #2, Ft. Myers, FL 33966 |
Q: | What is the annual cost and how is it paid? |
A: |
Annual cost runs between $2,800.00 - $3,300.00 and is paid in 11 monthly installments. Our mini/tiny teams run between $1,200 - $1,500. (Several fundraising and sponsorship opportunities are available to offset these costs).
|
Q: | What does the annual cost include? |
A: |
Everything the cheerleader needs for the year: monthly fees, uniforms, shoes, unlimited tumbling classes, competition registrations, accessories, etc. (competition travel cost is not included)
|
Q: | How many competitions do you attend; how far do you travel; how much school is missed? |
A: |
We attend 3-4 overnight competitions and 3-4 one-day/local competitions starting in December. Teams will travel to Orlando, Tampa, Daytona Beach, Miami, Atlanta and other possible destinations.
|
Q: | How often do you practice? |
A: |
All teams practice one weekday (M/W or T/TH) for 2 hours. This will allow time during the week for free unlimited tumbling classes.
|
Q: | I am going on vacation during the summer, should I wait until I get back to start? |
A: |
Our summer schedule is flexible when it comes to attendance. We expect a cheerleader to attend practice if they are in town. Since most of our skill building is done over the summer the more the child attends practice the more they will progress. Tuition costs are calculated annually, so anyone starting after the summer will still pay the full tuition.
|
Q: | Cheerleading has become a dangerous sport, so what experience do your coaches have? |
A: |
The Top Gun All Star staff has been involved with all-star cheerleading for over 23 years. You will not find a more qualified group of coaches in the nation. Our staff is fully certified by the USASF in the latest safety and spotting techniques, and you can be assured that your child is in the best hands possible when it comes to cheerleading and gymnastics instruction.
|
Q: | What cheerleading/gymnastics experience must a person have in order to make a team? |
A: |
There are no requirements for evaluations; everyone that goes through the evaluation process will make a Top Gun team. Top Gun takes great pride in improving the talent level of each individual within the organization.
Everyone has to start somewhere, so why not start with the best!
